Todays Kudos & Encouragement (Mon 3-2-15) Courageous Risk Takers

Good Morning You Courageous Risk Takers,

It’s a new day, it’s a new week, it’s a new month!! Some of us have already made sales that are installing in March. We have a jump start on hitting bonus already. Let’s keep the momentum up and make this month count. Basic training in the military is 2 months long, getting up way too early and staying up way too late with one goal in mind; learning how to become all we can be.  Let’s make a deal with each other to take this one month (March) to step FIRMLY outside our comfort zone, take some risks, make some calls, talk to more people on our own than Empire sends us out to see. Let’s get back to basics and be the best business owners we can be.  Make eye contact, smile, hand out a business card and say, “Good morning, hey, I own a flooring company, have you been thinking about getting some new flooring in your home?” ”Do you know anybody that might be?” Then take it from there!!

The comfort zone is seductive. We all desire comfort. It's human nature. However, too much comfort does not serve us well. An inability to step out of our comfort zone will profoundly limit our performance. If we knew it took talking to 20 people before we got a YES, how long would it take us to talk to those 20? What if it was 50 people? Change can be frightening. It's the single greatest source of fear we all face. Change confronts us with one of the most frightening of situations: the unknown. Although it is perfectly normal to be fearful of change, such a fear response can immobilize us.

Either way we are winners!! Knowledge and wisdom are 2 distinctly different things

– knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is NOT putting it in your fruit salad!!
