Askers: Todays Kudos & Encouragement (Wednesday 7-15-15)

Good Morning Askers,

Today is July 15th – we are half way through the month – Do you know what your numbers are?

How is our quest for referrals working? When was the last time we received a referral from a happy customer? What does our personal referral program look like?

The most effective types of marketing and self generating business that exists are the ones that cost us nothing.  It’s almost as good as having a cash printing machine. It’s called customer referrals.   By referrals I’m talking about having existing, satisfied customers voluntarily recommend our business to people within their circle of trust.

Empire has a referral program, are we using it? Might I recommend even having a referral system of our own? I use the “Pay it Forward” and “Triple Reward” approach at every appointment I am on.

Here is what it looks like:
During wants/needs, I let them know it is coming (get their brain thinking about it). During pricing, one of the “discounts” I give is an additional $100 off for the promise of a referral (pay it forward).  Then after the sale/quote, I ask if they know anybody NOW, remind them of the $100 discount, remind them of Empires offer and let them know I will give their friends/relatives/coworkers/neighbors the same AWESOME deal I gave them. Then if we are really feeling generous, a follow up call/text/email/thank you card. We cannot expect them to remember us, we must stay in their field of view!!

There are 3 things we must do every appointment:
1)      Let everyone know about the program.
2)      Make it worth their time.
3)      Make it easy for them to participate.

“You don’t ask for what you don’t want and you don’t get what you don’t ask for. Do you want it?” – Dan Thompson
Or how about this one:
“You ask for what you want, and you get more of what you want when you ask for it.”
