While most people operate with only three degrees of action -
no action, retreat, or normal action - if we're after big goals, we don't want
to settle for the ordinary. To reach the next level, we must understand the
coveted 4th degree of action. This 4th degree looks a lot like determination,
motivation, follow through and the mind set of SELL IT OR BE SOLD.
This little reminder might help …
The Ten Commandments of Sales 
1: Be Proud and Be Positive. 
2: Dress for Sales Success. 
3: See the Sale—see our customer
owning the product. 
4: Be Sold on Our Offer—own the
product we sell, be sold on it. 
5: Know Our Value Proposition—what
is of most value to our customer? 
6: Always Agree With Our
Client—acknowledge, don’t handle the client. 
7: Super Freak Demonstration—give
value in excess of money spent. 
8: Be Time Efficient—do as much
selling in the shortest period of time possible. 
9: Assume the Close—make it
difficult to say no by not asking a question, by just moving forward. 
10: Always Persist in the
Close—attempt the close and persist enough times to get the sale. 
Take a second and go back over that list. This time add a
little more in your mind. Make reason and sense of each line.
