Todays Kudos & Encouragement (Thurs 2-19-15) What does 100% look like?

Good Morning My Astounding Friends,

We were a bit light on sales yesterday (except for Jeremy – you Rockstar), I don’t know if there was some new diet I missed in the sales meeting, but we don’t need no stinking diet, let’s go eat a hearty meal of SALES today. The snow has melted, it’s going to be nearly 60 degrees, let’s belly up to the sales smorgasbord and chow down!! Sorry, I don’t know where that came from, I think I need breakfast.

Seriously though, the majority of our customers don’t know diddly about flooring, part of our job is to be so valuable, so informative, so helpful that we become irreplaceable to our customers. When we give them 100% of our best, most of them see that and appreciate us. When we give 100%, even if they “gotta get 3 quotes”, we feel better, we feel more confident, we sleep better at night. So the question today is: What does 100% look like? I would love to hear some ideas from you guys/gals.  Is it showing up and just talking for 2 hours? Is it bringing in 20 carpet samples? Is it not slapping them because they think it is only $99? J Or is it something MORE??  Might I suggest one of my favorite quotes?

"This above all: to thine own self be true" – Shakespeare Hamlet

We quoted some fantastically large quotes yesterday, don’t forget to follow up and land some of those great whites!! Also, don’t forget to include MISC when you dispo. Yes, we can see when you forget!!(no names)  J

If we all did the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves. – Thomas Edison
Trick question of the day: How many time did Thomas Edison fail trying to invent the light bulb? Some say 1000 times, when asked,Edison allegedly said, "I have not failed 1,000 times. I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways to NOT make a light bulb."
Our buddy Tommy E. teaches us many valuable lessons here:
1)     PMA – Positive Mental Attitude
2)     He learned at every attempt (appointment for us)
3)     Tenacity - not easily stopped, firm or strong, continuing for a long time, very determined to do something
If you feel like you are on the quote train, then channel your inner Tommy E., turn that bad boy around, and go get ‘em today!!
